Volunteering
Become a Guardian Angel and offer your comforting presence to those who need it most.
The Guardian Angels Foundation is a charity dedicated to the experience of people at the end of life, and to supporting those who care for them.
For us, dying is an action verb that implies being alive

The Foundation was born from a deep conviction: no one should die alone. The initial idea of the project emerged during a working session with Ms. Gina Marmen when Thierry Leuzy envisioned a network of trained volunteers capable of offering a glimmer of peace to any human being dying alone.

Training geared toward loved ones, caregivers, volunteers, and professionals.

Creator of the project, he comes from an atypical background. As a published novelist and specialist in the phenomenology of the creative process, he has been working for over 8 years as a spiritual consultant for nuns at the end of life. He has also been active as a consultant for Santé Québec.
With over 30 years of experience in the healthcare network as a manager and team leader, she specializes in developing institutional partnerships.
A criminologist with a strong interest in victimology, she brings an analytical perspective and helps broaden the Foundation’s scope to include marginalized and vulnerable communities, as well as issues related to compassion fatigue, vicarious stress, and operational trauma.
