Volunteering
Become a Guardian Angel and offer your comforting presence to those who need it most.

Becoming a Guardian Angels volunteer is about more than just giving time: above all, it’s about exposing oneself to the end of life in a way that allows for growth and learning, which also leads to integrating Impermanence as a founding fact of life. All the while, honouring a dying person. Being a Guardian Angel is about cultivating presence, awareness, and learning the art of watching over the dying, as they are still very much a part of Life.
By joining our network of trained volunteers, you contribute to our mission: To watch over. To console. To raise awareness.
Accompanying a person at the end of life is, above all, offering oneself a moment of humanity and dignity. It goes further: it is exposing oneself to what death has to teach.
As someone who knows how to watch over a person at the end of life, you provide that individual with a context of safety and peace, creating a space to lay anxiety to rest and enabling the freedom to surrender to Death as pure Mystery.
Also, because life’s worst enemy is probably boredom, sharing your presence in such an intimate setting counters boredom with tender vitality.
