Vision, grounding, and responsibility
In alignment with the scope of its mission and the founding principles of the project, the Board of Directors of the Guardian Angels Foundation is currently in the process of recruiting and structuring.
For now, three founding members are providing interim governance, while a broader, multidisciplinary board is being established.
President and Founder
Coming from an unconventional life path that includes substantial experience dealing with adversity and death, Thierry is the instigator of the Guardian Angels Foundation. He specializes in the phenomenology of the creative process, and acts as a consultant, trainer, and end-of-life care giver and doula. He is primarily focused on all things regarding the subjective experience of adversity and the end-of-life as a means of fostering human development and wisdom.
He gives voice to the vision and develops the clinical, social and human orientation of the project.
For almost a decade, he has been accompanying nuns at the end of life, working mainly regarding their quest for coherence, which has led him to develop a unique expertise regarding consolation and consolidation. He is dedicated to creating experiential tools focused on themes such as The Mourning of Self and Grace at the Heart of Trauma. He has also created a first reference framework for spiritual care services within the healthcare network of Santé Québec - Lower Saint Lawrence region.
Treasurer and Cofounder
Head of Spiritual Care and Volunteer Services for Santé Québec Bas-Saint-Laurent, Gina brings over 30 years of experience within the healthcare system.
She serves as the administrative backbone of the Foundation. Her deep understanding of the field and her organizational rigour provide the project with a solid and well-structured foundation.
Vice President and Co-founder
A criminologist by training, Ella is focusing her master’s studies on addressing trauma-related issues such as compassion fatigue and vicarious stress as experienced by support professionals. Ella brings a critical perspective, profound curiosity and deep-rooted vitality that support the growth and realization of the Foundation’s ambitions.
Professionals and executives (including retirees) with expertise in management, law, healthcare, philanthropy, communications, research, or any field related to the Foundation’s mission.
Experience in governance, strategic development, financial management, communications, or social media.
Dynamic compassion toward experiences of suffering and care for the end of life experience.
A desire to help build a socially impactful project rooted in dignity and legacy.
