Volunteering
Become a Guardian Angel and offer your comforting presence to those who need it most.
Our purpose, the purity of our intention, and the actions that flow from it are all dedicated to ensuring that no human being has to face death alone or isolated in loneliness.
We are called upon to safeguard the dignity of the person in need of presence. As Guardian Angels we stand by the dying while holding space. We provide support to loved ones, caregivers, health care workers and social service professionals who also need presence and care.
Our training programs align with our mission: to watch over - to console - to make aware.
The Foundation trains volunteers, caregivers, as well as professionals and institutions. Knowing that each human experience is singular, the Wisdom at the heart of our know-how enables us to create tailor-made training programs.

What if the art of living also meant knowing how to die well?
The motto of the Guardian Angels Foundation is: “Dying, a verb of action that implies being alive.” We believe that people nearing the end of life have the opportunity to teach us how to die well. Thus, we are committed to supporting the creation of spiritual legacies, making the end of life period a time of creation, expression, and sharing.

We hold space where objective sciences and subjective sciences converge, enabling a deeper understanding and improved support for the end of life experience.
In terms of leadership, the Foundation is set toward building bridges between such fields as neurosciences, phenomenology, arts, health and medicine, education, social sciences, and spiritual care, and other paradigmes, in conjonction with economics, legislation, and policy.
